With a population of approximately 323,000, Shropshire represents an interesting challenge to the delivery of services, not least because of its rurality, restricted transport infrastructure, and containing many small, diverse and widely separated communities. Sexual Health issues remain distinct and disproportionately affect those within deprived areas, therefore we are looking for innovative models of delivery to improve equity and accessibility for service users.

Services included in the Tender:

Clinical Outreach Service Level 1 & 2,
Specialist Level 3 Genito Urinary Medicine and Contraception
Condom Distribution Scheme (CDS),
Community based Psychosexual Counselling
HIV prevention, testing and treatment including PrEP
Out of Area activity charges and recharges
Clinical Governance for digital provider

The duration of the contract will be for 5 years commencing on 1st September 2023.
