The boundary wall is 70m long 1.6m and constructed from brick work work.

The boiler chimney is square in plan and largely built in red brick. It has a decorative central and corner pilasters. The internal corners of which have moulded bricks. It is approximately 120ft in height from ground level and has a plan area of 4.1m x 4.1m at the base reducing to 3.66m x 3.66m at the main pilastered shaft.

In plan the porch is approximately 2.2m deep x 4.1m width, with the base of the steps protruding another 2.5m from the front of the porch. The porch structure has a slated mansard roof formed by timber rafters, supported on a central timber purlins to each pitch and onto eaves beams spanning the north and south side, and stubs to the front.
