Short Description: | Watford Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest for a qualified contractor to provide an open air cinema in two locations (either two parks or one park and the town centre event space) for an initial period of two years with an option to extend up to four years. The open air cinema will run for a period of two weeks over the school summer holidays (dates TBC) The successful Contractor will be required to; •Provide a a high quality cinema screen experience in two locations for a period of two weeks showing a variety of films; •Be responsible for film licensing through Filmbank •Incorporate screening the Paris Olympics into the film schedule (for 2024 only) •Provide site manager and adequate staff for the entirety of the event to help with public enquiries, cleaning and maintenance of site •Provide 24 hour security •Be responsible for dealing with all Health and Safety requirements, liaising with the relevant authorities where appropriate on behalf of Watford Borough Council within the annual cost. •To allow for meetings with interested parties and providing them with details of the project and the council’s requirements. |
