Local Government Association: GB-London: Local Government/VCSE infrastructure Good Practice Guide

Local Government Association is using Delta eSourcing to run this tender exercise

Notice Summary
Title: GB-London: Local Government/VCSE infrastructure Good Practice Guide
Notice type: Competitive Contract Notice
Authority: Local Government Association
Nature of contract: Not applicable
Procedure: Not applicable
Short Description: In December 2022, the LGA published a report on the state of strategic relationships between councils and their local VCS. This was accompanied, in April 2023, by a practical toolkit on partnership working with VCS. These publications identified the key challenges and opportunities in the council/VCS relationship, including some of changed context and learning that arose from the experience of the pandemic and set out practical steps and good practice on how to improve those relationships. This project is a companion or extension piece to the previous publications, aimed at examining and improving those relationships, and ensuring councils are working as closely as possible with infrastructure organisations to maximise the role of smaller VCSE organisations in both service delivery and community engagement.
