The Royal Parks wish to appoint a landscape maintenance / grounds maintenance contractor to undertake the maintenance of The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill from June 2024 for a period of up to four years (27 months, plus two potential one year extension periods). The Royal Parks will purchase the majority of the vehicle fleet for this contract.
The parks cover 191 hectares and comprise numerous gardens and avenues, sports pitches, amenity grassland, water bodies, natural greens space and park drives. The Regent’s Park hosts numerous events including major arts and food festivals. The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill are Grade I and Grade II listed landscapes respectively, they contain listed structures, they are also locally designated for nature conservation interest. Contract work is undertaken by a group of approximately 45 staff. A significant resource is required to ensure the park remains litter free and waste is managed as sustainably as possible.
We are looking for a contractor to work with us to continue to drive up standards in horticulture, nature conservation, sports ground management and sustainability. We are driven by a desire to provide world class public parks, and to lead in our field, therefore quality is our priority as we aim to invest in the betterment of this precious landscape.
