Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) have commissioned Arts Council England Youth Advisory Board to oversee a report on on Children and Young People’s view on their own cultural education. Therefore Arts Council England are inviting tenders from a broad range of organisations (for example those working in the youth, community, education, arts or heritage settings) to conduct youth-led, accessible and creative research. The youth-led research project will hear Children and Young People’s experiences, views and ideas about cultural education, which will feed into the Government’s policy work on the Cultural Education Plan. The project will enable more young people to participate in decision making on a national policy level. The Cultural Education Plan was announced in the Government’s 2022 education White Paper.
