VII.2) Information about modifications

   VII.2.1) Description of the modifications:
    The Museum has extended its contract for Hard FM Services for a period of two years beyond the period advertised in the original OJEU notice, to expire on 30 June 2025.    
   
   VII.2.2) Reasons for modification:
         Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
   
   Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:
    Technical reasons and significant inconvenience: Significant uncertainty regarding future requirements for FM services across the estate, in particular the Museum's planned new science and digitisation centre, means that approaching the market at this time would present significant risks. The Museum also plans to deliver significant projects in the coming period, most notably its Urban Nature Project and its new science and digitisation centre with significant impact on workloads and resourcing
