VI.3) Additional Information: Network Homes (NH) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced service providers to carry out planned preventative maintenance / servicing, responsive repairs, 365 days a year with 24 hour breakdown call out cover and replacement of fire fighting equipment and systems within estates and properties managed by NH and SW9. The contract shall cover the following equipment/systems: Fire alarm systems (including detectors, magnetic door holders etc), Fire alarm monitoring systems, Fire extinguishers, Portable fire extinguishers, Fire blankets, Dry and wet riser installations, Safety signage, Fire hydrants, Sprinkler systems, Emergency lighting, Hard Wired Smoke Detectors, , Domestic Interlinked Smoke Detection Systems, Automatic Opening Vents, Fire curtains, Bin chute fire damper/fusible links, Vibrating plates and flashing beacons for the hard of hearing, Water Mist Systems.
It is anticipated that any remedial works to emergency lighting, including any identified during planned inspections, will be passed back to the Client and the work will be carried out by the Electrical Safety Service Provider unless NH instruct otherwise.
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
