The successful service provider will be required to provide the following services in relation to lift servicing, maintenance and refurbishment;- routine serving and maintenance;- repair and breakdown service in line with the Council’s service levels;- repairs identified following independent inspections by the insurance company;- pro-active maintenance, replacement, repair and adjustment of any part of the lift should it fail, or be wornbeyond adequate adjustment;- validation of current asset register and on-going record keeping including current inspections, next inspectionsand ‘extended service’ inspections etc., this information will remain the property of the Council; and- lift refurbishment and/or lift replacements as required.The contract will be let on an initial three year term with the option in year three to extend for a further two yearsin any combination.
