Support is of a preventative nature with the aim of helping Service Users to establish independence, move on to general needs accommodation and lead fulfilling and independent lives. The Contract will cover the entire geographical area of Telford & Wrekin. The Contract will cover all client groups with the aim of delivering tailored services to meet individual need. Information illustrating the existing provision of these services is included in the tender documentation as Appendix 6 Current Service Provision This contract will be to secure provision of the maximum possible number of hours for a cost envelope of £440k or less. Bidders will be evaluated on: -The quality of the proposal; -The capacity they can offer in terms of matching as closely as possible the number of units of appropriate quality accommodation available; -Delilvering the maximum possible number of Service User support hours that will be delivered across the units of accommodation; -Providing the required geographical spread of Service; -Being able to meet the needs of a variety of Service Users The appointed Bidder will be required to use the accommodation and support flexibly in order to best meet the individual accommodation and support needs of the Service Users. The Council will accept bids from a Lead Provider who may hold sub-contracts with other Providers in order to deliver the specified service. |
