Shropshire Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Contractor to produce a design for and make improvements to a community play area for children at Birchmeadow Park.
The park is located at Birchmeadow Road, Broseley, Shropshire, TF12,5NG
The park is a valued local asset providing sport and recreational facilities for the community and is managed by Shropshire Council who are the project client.

The cost of the play area improvements will be met through Community Infrastructure Levy Funding. The anticipated funding available for this project is in the region of £150,000 - £165,000
The aims of the project are to:
•create a much-improved play area for children and young people
•make the site more inclusive and accessible to allow mixed ability and mixed age play
•encourage greater physical activity amongst users and the local community
•celebrate the area’s industrial past
•signpost users to other areas of historical or natural interest
•help to reduce anti-social behaviour
