The aim of spogo is to contribute to increasing the general public's participation in sport and physical activities. The core technical solution ("the Solution") to be provided by the Service Provider shall include as a minimum, but shall not be limited to: - A desktop and mobile consumer website for the general public to find sports and physical activities and facilitate their booking, also delivering rich targeted content to end-users - A web Application Programming Interface (API) exposing the core sports and physical activities finder and content syndication provided by the technical solution - Website widgets and/or white label websites for easy integration of the functionality into existing websites or as a branded website - A B2B self-service website and data provision web API for sports and physical activities data providers as well as third party tools providers to feed and manage their data - A regular Open Data extract of the relevant data managed by the service The Services to be provided by the private sector partner shall include, but shall not be limited to, the following ("the Services"): - Agile software development and application management - Infrastructure provision and management - Marketing, content management and SEO services - Customer services - Data management - Sports sector relationship management (sports and activities providers as well as third party tools providers) - Revenue management - Project Management including day to day operational management up to, including and beyond the build and implementation phases Due to the nature of the Project, there are likely to be directly relevant technological advances during the term of the contract and it shall therefore be necessary to revise any baseline technological specification in line with such advancements. Sport England therefore reserves the right to reflect (by way of a pre-agreed change mechanism) a revised specification which reflects the general level of technological advancements in relation to products and services similar to (or replacing) any such baseline technological specification. The Service should also be able to produce data that will then be consumed into a separate insights generation system. Such data will include raw data to generate statistics on the use of the Service.
