      II.2.4) Description of procurement: Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is procuring a Battery Storage Framework Agreement which will provide a model for public sector bodies wishing to implement battery storage solutions within the perimeter of their electrical network (“behind the meter”). The Framework Agreement will be open to public sector bodies (including those involved in consortium arrangements), however, no public-sector body will be committed to place an order under the Framework Agreement.

The single lot Framework Agreement will have a number of suppliers on it who will implement computer-controlled battery storage solutions enabling organisations to reduce Triad charges, DUoS charges, Capacity Market Charges and utilise grid incentives such as Firm Frequency Response.

The framework allows for the addition of related technologies and will also include services to support projects such as ongoing maintenance and operation services, independent aggregator services and financing options.
