The IDeA is seeking to appoint a supplier to design and deliver the accredited leadership development programme for ngdp Cohorts 16 and 17 - developing potential future leaders and managers within local government and equipping them with the skills, understanding and competencies required to be effective as change agents in their councils and to realise their leadership potential.       The IDeA is seeking to appoint a supplier to design and deliver the accredited leadership development programme for ngdp Cohorts 16 and 17 - developing potential future leaders and managers within local government and equipping them with the skills, understanding and competencies required to be effective as change agents in their councils and to realise their leadership potential. This may be extended to cohort 18 subject to the requirements of the IDeA and agreement of the successful bidder.

This service includes:
•   All aspects of delivery required to achieve the stated outcomes including travel expenses and cost of materials.
•   ILM accreditation (on completion of the required assignments to an acceptable standard the NGDP trainees will be awarded the ILM Diploma in Strategic Leadership at Level 7)
•   In the region of 120 national management trainees per cohort/programme
•   Two learning and development programmes (cohort 16 and 17) to be delivered between the period October 2014 to July 2017. This may be extended to cohort 18 (October 2016 – July 2018) subject to the requirements of the IDeA.
•   4 modules per learning and development programme, spaced over 2 academic years (October – July)
•   Joint bids from multiple suppliers will be considered but this contract is not divided into lots and we would expect to receive one consolidated bid.
