      The Council’s preference is to appoint a single furniture provider for all aspects of the project. The requirement for a single supplier is based on limiting risk associated with the Project. The timescales for delivery are challenging and any delays on installation will impact on the Council’s exposure to further costs. The furniture contract will be awarded to the tenderer who can demonstrate best value, best quality and lowest risk.

The contract will be fixed for a two year period, anticipated to start from 31st March 2014 There will be an option to extend the contract period for up to one (1) year based on demand and at the sole discretion of the council.
