      Social work and related services. Other community, social and personal services. South Lanarkshire Council, Housing & Technical Resources are seeking a suitable experienced organisation for the provision of:-

• A 10 bedded Supported Accommodation facility for homeless households in the Hamilton area. The provider must be able to provide a suitable property in the Hamilton area which will be fully operational by 1st April 2014 (core) – the identified property may be larger but the council can only commit to funding 10 places.
• In addition the Council will lease the provider 3 additional flatted properties in the Hamilton area which will be considered an annex to the core building.
• The provider will also be required to manage a 10 bedded First Stop emergency accommodation in the Lanark area, in a property (core building) owned by the Council and leased to the provider.
• In addition the Council will lease 2 additional flatted properties in the Lanark area in the vicinity of the core building.

Services will be staffed 24 hours.

The provider must be suitably registered with the Care Inspectorate and be able to demonstrate substantial experience in the delivery of housing support services to homeless households with complex needs.

The commencement date for the new service will be 1 April 2014.
