The IGT also provides two-way communications using voice, data, video across a number of platforms including body worn cameras, drones, independently of other networks. The current system uses both 3/4g and satellite communications as a backup.
The situational awareness software has been selected. The software is Airbox Mosaic https://airboxsystems.com/mosaic/ . All systems within the remainder of the solution must be compatible with and meet the minimum requirements of the Airbox Mosaic software. Both iOS (Apple) and Android solutions are required for mobile devices as Ambulance Trusts have differing IT Strategies for devices.
