Short Description: | The Council requires the services of an organisation/business which can provide relevant expertise in Food and Drink cluster development. The organisation should be appropriately resourced and should have a track record in designing successful self-sustaining clusters combined with a good knowledge the food and drink sector, relevant stakeholders and practitioners to inform the findings/report. The Council is seeking the following specific services as part of the agreement: •Brief analysis of cluster development specialist literature suggesting proven methodologies which could be explored; •Segmentation of businesses to engage including groupings of businesses across other sectors which work exclusively or largely in the food sector (e.g. logistics/ wholesalers) – suggesting categorisation and identification approaches; •Design of a bespoke Food and Drink cluster for both large businesses and SMEs alike; •Identify key businesses within Norfolk and Suffolk that have the potential to be cluster anchors; •List prestigious businesses/ individuals that must be engaged as a draw to involve other relevant businesses; •List at least 5 key investors in food businesses in the region which should be engaged in the project; |
