Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is using Delta eSourcing to run this tender exercise

Notice Summary
Title: GB-London: Understanding user experience in digital identity use cases
Notice type: Competitive Contract Notice
Authority: Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport
Nature of contract: Not applicable
Procedure: Not applicable
Short Description: The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) needs to research the needs of digital identity users. We would like to appoint an organisation to carry out this user research on specific case studies on how these chosen groups feel / think etc. about digital identity. Our focus is to understand how DCMS could implement a digital identity that works for everyone, not just the identity providers, building trust in our users and maximising the uptake of digital identity products. This user research will build on the four case studies we have developed by considering specific experiences of individual users to identify where digital identity could be part of the user journey and how different demographics feel about this. The user research will also show consideration to how individuals experience inclusion testing this where possible with users either in interview or polling. For example, for users who lack a particular type of device, digital identity is not a benefit but a hurdle to be overcome to gain access to the services that are essential in everyday life.
