Notice Summary |

Title: | GB-London: Information and advice business case, evidence of return on investment, and benchmarking |
Notice type: | Competitive Contract Notice |
Authority: | Local Government Association |
Nature of contract: | Not applicable |
Procedure: | Not applicable |
Short Description: | Adult social care information and advice are essential and getting them right means that people are more likely to be able to make informed choices and access the right support at the right time and place. This can make a big difference for someone and ultimately can improve their health and wellbeing. It also helps councils to manage and prioritise their assessment processes and resources. For councils to be able to improve their strategic management of information and advice, we believe that the IAMA can be supplemented by a model business case with quantified evidence of returns on investment via council case studies. This tender is for universal support to enable councils to develop and evidence their business cases for information and advice investment. It would also support councils in self-evaluation of their performance and how they compare to peers, enabling them to benchmark themselves. This work will involve research and development of universal tool(s), including methodology, guidance, and case studies, to support councils to articulate, capture and track the benefits and costs of investment in adult social care information and advice as prevention, offline and online. Tool(s) to form part of the adult social care information and advice toolkit and analysis to enable Information and Advice Maturity Assessment (IAMA) benchmarking. |
