The training provision will be a framework agreement for construction specific pathways which will be commissioned on a call off basis to meet our contractor demand between July 2016 - March 2017. The Legacy Corporation is looking to offer accredited pathways for both groups and individuals wishing to gain work with contractors on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the following construction skill areas (this list is not exhaustive): 1. Drylining, 2. Scaffolding (COTS, Part 1, Part 2 Tube and Fitting or System Scaffold) 3. Formwork 4. Site Safety at Supervisor and Management level (SSSTS and SMSTS) 5. External Wall Insulation (esp. fixing systems) 6. Modular construction techniques 7. Introduction to Brickwork 8. Introduction to Fenestration. 9. Individual accreditation in plant tickets such as CSCS, CPSC and IPAF 10.Delivery of contractor-specific packages where contractors “donate” kit to the provider to run courses. Shuttering systems might be one example 11.Additional courses that the provider is able to deliver as match-funded activity to complement the programme; set out above.
