Short Description: The British Library is finding it difficult to recruit Solution Architects and so a decision has been made to provide opportunity for two internal members of staff to be seconded to the Architecture team for 2 years and follow a training, coaching and mentoring program. At the end of the 2 years they may stay in the Architecture team or go back to their original role with an additional set of skills. The purpose of this procurement is to engage with a consultant or consultancy to help set up this training program, be part of the selection process and then help to deliver the initial part of the training program with the Head of Architecture. Alongside this, it is envisaged that the successful person/organisation will help develop the architecture for a key project using this as a learning exercise for the successful trainees.
