Short Description: | The aim of this provision is to provide experienced Social Work Practitioners with the skills required to coach, mentor, supervise and assess social work students, Newly Qualified Social Workers and mentor Social Workers engaged in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. It should provide pathways to support Practice Educators to achieve level 2 Practice Education Professional Standards (PEPS). The programme should be available for delivery from autumn 2019 and will consist of a minimum of 20 delegates per cohort. The overall number of days, of the programme, will be determined by the successful HE provider. Any programme should be linked to Masters Credits and will be gained through a provision of blended learning, gained knowledge and illustrated through written evidence of learning against the learning outcomes and domains of PEPS2, however we are open to suggestions as to how this is achieved. We expect a variety of training resources, dynamic delivery, contemporary methodologies and innovation to be adopted to ensure the learning needs of all attendees are met. The use of Subject Matter Experts is encouraged. Each session will be for a minimum of 20 delegates and is to be delivered at a location in Chelmsford, Essex. |
