      Repair and maintenance services. The scope of the contract will include the following but not limited to:-

•   repairs which includes all parts and labour
•   emergency call-outs

The work shall comprise of the Servicing, Testing, Inspection and Repairs to Gates, Doors and Door Entry Systems, within the housing stock of First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) and Housing 21(H21) Properties. This will also include the issuing and general administration of all electronic fobs as and when required.

The service, maintenance and repair of the systems will be carried out within the Oldham area of Greater Manchester, with the contract consisting of approximately 291 FCHO blocks and 24 H21 blocks.

These numbers are based on all current stock and will, for various reasons be subject to change.

The service and maintenance of H21 blocks is currently being managed by FCHO Officers and will remain as such until December, 2013 at this stage FCHO are not in a position to comment on the future procurement of these works and as such, and for the avoidance of doubt, FCHO will not be liable to claims for loss of work, or loss of profit due to reductions in workloads as a result of variations in H21stock.

The estimated value of this contract is in the range of £60k to £90k excluding VAT per annum.

The contract terms to be used to deliver this service will be the “JCT Measured Term Contract”, this will be issued to the successful bidder on completion of the procurement exercise
