VI.3)Additional Information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. The objective of this Procurement is to provide the Museum with Project Management and Quantity Surveying Services with experience in the Museum/cultural/heritage sector using a framework agreement. Selected suppliers will form a pool of PM and QS providers from which the Museum will select and appropriate company to work on its programme of complex and innovative temporary and permanent exhibitions. The pool will be divided into two lots, one for PM and one for QS Those invited to tender will be able to bid for either or both lots. In addition this framework agreement may be used for Estates construction and infrastructure projects.Selection for each project is likely to be subject to mini-competition. Applicants must demonstrate they have a track record in providing services on projects requiring the installation of Exhibitions, Interior Design and related infrastructure works focusing on visitor services to the Public as well as the ability to provide standard Estate type construction and infrastructure projects. Experience of grade 1 and 2 listed buildings and working with laboratories is essential. Applicants must also demonstrate that they have extensive experience of working on projects using various contract formats, with a particular emphasis on the NEC3 and JCT model forms.
