      This project is to tender for the provision of internet services to the student accommodation at out Colchester and Southend campuses from the cessation of the current contract. The transition between service providers should be seamless and there should be minimal service disruption to students residing within the accommodation.

The service provided must offer a consistent, reliable, high-speed internet service backed up by 24 hour customer service support.

The tender must include both cabled and Wi-Fi internet service provision to every study bedroom at both Colchester (2656 rooms) and Southend (561 rooms) Campuses relevant to the occupancy of the room and Wi-Fi provision in all Study bedrooms and common spaces of each accommodation building. This service must allow users to connect a minimum of 5 devices and deliver a minimum speed of 30 Mbps wired and 20Mbps wireless to each user in year 1 and include a roadmap detailing a commitment to increase end user speed each year of the contract in line with technological progress as agreed between the provider and the University.
