Leicester City Council (the Council), commission in collaboration with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire, Specialist Substance Misuse services for young people within the City of Leicester.
The Council is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to submit a tender for the provision of Young People’s Specialist Substance Misuse Services.
This tender seeks to secure a Service Provider for the provision of Young People’s Specialist Substance Misuse Services from 1st July 2014 for an initial period of two years, until 30th June 2016, with the possibility to extend for a further one more year until 30th June 2017 (2+1) subject to agreement by the Council. The value of the funding offered for this contract for the contract period (2+1) will be up to £986,841 (£328,947 per annum) (excluding VAT).
The Service Provider’s performance shall be measured regularly (in terms of the performance measures identified in the specification) and the Service Provider shall provide accurate and reliable management information to the Council as and when required.
It is Council’s preliminary view that TUPE Regulations may apply in respect of this contract The Council expects the successful provider comply with the Best Value Authorities Staff Transfers (Pensions) Direction 2007 and either apply for Admitted Body Status or offer a broadly comparable pension scheme.
