The Council is looking to appoint an innovative provider who: • is registered with CQC as a domiciliary care provider or will seek to become registered during the first 2 years of the contract. • can easily meet the varied needs of current residents • can develop the current service in line with the Council’s priorities • that has a track record in providing high quality services of a similar nature • has proven abilities to think imaginatively about service development and improvement • can demonstrate an awareness of the local and national agendas for both health and social care • can identify improved efficiencies whilst still maintaining a quality service. • can maximise the social and economic impact of these services • can actively transition these services from residential to support living schemes We consider The Employee ‘Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (‘TUPE’) may apply to this contract(s) with the current staff teams at both homes to be transferred.
