      Building construction work. Construction work for buildings relating to education and research. Construction work for university buildings. Construction work for buildings relating to health. The University of Bradford wishes to invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Main Contractors to undertake the refurbishment of the existing Phoenix South West Building on the Universities City Centre campus. The building in question was originally a Mill building, and has been adapted and refurbished numerous times since its construction, most recently being converted for use as teaching spaces. Since its inception the building has also been extended twice to incorporate a three story and four story extension respectively. The refurbished building will house a new Health and Wellbeing Centre (HWC).
The estimated value of the scheme is between £3.5m and £4.5m excluding VAT.
It is envisaged that the construction will begin by no later than January 2016, with the building being operational no later than November 2016.
