This Contract covers the routine servicing and responsive repairs of approximately 68 passenger lifts managed by South Essex Homes: situated in various high and medium rise blocks (31), Sheltered Housing buildings (26); and directly by Southend Borough Council in the Civic Centre building (10), all in the Borough of Southend-on-Sea for a period of 3 years. The types of buildings include High Rise 15 Storey Tower Blocks, Sheltered Housing Schemes Part 1 & 2, Extra Care schemes and the Councils Civic Centre. The portfolio of lifts include recently refurbished lifts to High Rise Tower Blocks, Sheltered Schemes and lifts that are 20 to 30 yrs old which require the same level of service and maintenance.The contract will be monitored by a key performance indicator system which measures adherence to the contract and which will include response times and first time fix.
