Delta a resounding success at COUP 2017
Delta eSourcing were delighted to attend the recent Conference on University Purchasing (COUP) event held at Swansea University from the 5th to 7th of September. ‘Positive change through sustainable procurement’ was the theme for the event and it was truly a successful few days for both suppliers and delegates alike.
Delegates attended workshop and keynote sessions while not at the event itself and these took place throughout the two days and were by all accounts excellent. Indeed, Joe Scaffardi, of the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) marketing team stated:
“Each session was very informative and well put together by the session leaders, with everyone taking enjoyment from them and gaining the maximum value possible.”
With the University of Bath and University of Leicester as well as NEUPC now on board with Delta, the COUP conference was the perfect platform for Delta to demonstrate to other interested organisations the different benefits that Delta have to offer. This is an example of the NEUPC offering:
The system itself includes the following modules as standard through this agreement: Cobranded Buyer Portal, Workspace/Project Manager, Supplier Manager (including supplier engagement), Tender Manager, QuickCall and Contract Manager. An individual system will be provided for each participating institution (providing full segregation of individual institution data) that will feed into a cobranded portal containing details of participating institutions and any available tenders, ultimately allowing for further collaboration. This portal will also act as a point of registration for one supply base. Delta’s extensive experience in collaborative procurement enables an easy and flexible pathway to collaborating successfully through the branded portal.
As you can see, other Delta users are also very happy:
Overall the event was a great success and Delta is looking forward to attending again in 2 years time.
NEUPC further added: “NEUPC are excited to be hosting the Conference on University Purchasing 2019, and hope to be able to confirm the venue in October. Watch this space!”
