Short Description: On behalf of the National Fire Chief Council (NFCC) Kent and Medway Towns Fire Authority acting as the Contracting Authority is seeking to establish an Open Framework using the Competitive Flexible Procedure for the provision of Firefighter and lightweight (Wildland Fire and Technical Rescue) PPE, using a series of successive frameworks for specific goods and services. Lot 1 - Managed Service through a lease arrangement ( either full head to toe ensemble or partial items to be taken as dictated by the purchasing authorities) The following are purchase only Lots Lot 2 - Fire Structural, Wildland/Technical Rescue Helmets Lot 3 - Particulate Fire Hood Lot 4 - Fire Structural Tunic and Trouser Lot 5 - Fire Structural and Rescue Gloves Lot 6 - Fire Structural and Rescue boots Lot 7 - Lightweight PPE (dual standard of Wildand Fire and Technical Rescue, tunic meeting class 2 and class 3 and trousers) Lot 8 - Associated Services for Aqueous laundry ( including,repairs, service and maintenance) Lot 0 - Specialist Decontamination ( including,repairs, service and maintenance) For Lots 1, 2,3 ,5, 7, 8 and 9 up to 3 suppliers may be successful be awarded onto these frameworks For Lot(s) 4 and 7 up to 4 successful suppliers may be awarded onto these frameworks There are 3 key stages Participation stage including Procurement Specific Questionnaire and CDP information Tender Stage including ITT based on technical,quality and price criteria in addition to wearer trials and site visits being undertaken.
