Hertsmere Borough Council on behalf of the Councils within Hertfordshire are seeking a contractor to undertake an Empty Homes Review.
In light of the significant reduction in Government funding local authorities have become more innovative and are seeking opportunities to maximise their resources. One of these resources is the New Homes Bonus grant. This funding is for new build homes and also bringing long term empty properties back into use.
Councils within the County of Hertfordshire are seeking to reduce the number of long term empty properties, increase Council Tax revenue and increase New Homes Bonus Grant.

VI.3)Additional Information: Hertsmere Borough Council has moved to a new way of e-Tendering and worked closely with the County, other Districts and Partners to create a joint procurement website called Supply Hertfordshire.
