Social services. Welfare services for the elderly. Guidance and counselling services. Provision of Domiciliary Care, Housing Related Support, Scheme Management and Related Services for the new Sandy Mount Extra Care Housing Scheme in the Borough of Kirklees. Domiciliary Care Services includes assistance in getting up, washing, dressing, eating and drinking, assistance with mobility and practical support tasks. The range of Services also includes provision of Housing Related Support Services and the provision of Scheme Management including day to day operational management of the Extra Care housing scheme. The Related Services include provision of a programme of social and leisure activities. Further information about the range of Services to be provided at the Sandy Mount Extra Care housing scheme is included in the Market Brief – see section VI below. Further information about the procurement process is also included in section VI below and in the Market Brief and the Pre Qualification Questionnaire.. VI.1)Additional Information: Other Information: The Council is using a two stage approach to the procurement of the Domiciliary Care, Housing Related Support, Scheme Management and Related Services at the new Sandy Mount Extra Care housing scheme in Huddersfield. This first stage is the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire stage. The purpose of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire stage is for the Council to draw up a shortlist of bidders that the Council consider has an appropriate level of relevant experience, expertise, technical capacity and financial standing to be invited to submit a Tender. The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire includes further information about the procurement process and the Council’s selection criteria for this first stage of the procurement process. Tender documents will be issued at a later date to shortlisted bidders.
A Market Brief summarises the Council’s Service requirements and is available to help Applicants in the completion of the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. Applicants should be able to deliver the full range of the required Domiciliary Care, Housing Related Support, Scheme Management and Related Services. The Council recognises that some Applicants may wish to submit consortium bids where two or more legal entities work in partnership to provide the full range of the required Services and further information is available in the Market Brief and the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
