Health services. Hospital and related services. Paramedical services. The authority is looking to establish a framework agreement for Decontamination and sterilsiation of reusable surgical instruments for Community healthcare service providers.
Currently confirmed as in scope are 5 community healthcare service providers based within South West London. The service provision could extend to other providers with South London and the wider london area and further confirmation of this will be issed at the contract notice stage. London Procurement Partnership (LPP) is currently reviewing the provision of decontamination services across NHS Community service providers within South West London.
There are currently 5 in scope community providers within SW London.
The Authority is considering other south London providers and the wider London area. Any future contract notice may include further in scope regional providers.
The scope of this procurement currently covers, but not limited to, the decontamination of reusable surgical instruments in the following services:
1 Podiatry
2 Family Planning
3 Minor Injuries and Walk in Centre’s
4 Other e.g. Minor Surgeries
LPP wishes to engage with interested organisations in order to obtain feedback from the market on the services that the Authority are proposing to procure and on the Authorities’ approach to service delivery.

You will be invited to a supplier briefing session to be held on 26 July at offices in Wimbledon, SE19 further details will be sent to interested suppliers in due course.
The Authority is only seeking organisations to express an interest in the service delivery and participate in the supplier briefing at this time.
Organisations can express an interest without obligation to attend the supplier briefing session and non-participation in this event will not be taken into account in any future procurement.
The Authority will manage the responses in relation to spaces available and will do the upmost to accommodate all interested parties. Whilst we don’t foresee space being an issue, if we are not able to accommodate all suppliers, space will be allocated on a first come basis.
Failure to be invited will not preclude any organisation from submitting a tender in any future competition. Details of the outcomes of the day will be used to inform any future contract Notice.
The authorities are under no obligation to follow up this PIN in any way or with any interested parties. Any such discussions will cease in the immediate run up to any formal competition.
Interested parties are requested not to contact any other individual or team other than the named person whose details are given at Section I.1 of this PIN.
This PIN is issued solely for the purpose of alerting the market to an anticipated joint procurement by a number of community service healthcare providers. This PIN does not constitute a commitment by the authorities or any of them to undertake a procurement exercise in the future.
The authority is not liable either collectively or individually for any costs, expenses or fees incurred by any party participating in the soft market testing exercise including (but not limited to) the preparation of expressions of interest and subsequent submissions and attendance at the Supplier briefing session.
