II.2.4) Description of the procurement:
The University has appointed a panel of five providers to provide legal advice, support and guidance to each of the colleges within the University and Professional Service departments. Legal services are required to cover the below four core deliverable areas:
- General and Commercial
- Property
- Employment and People
- Student Focus
The procurement process was undertaken in two stages, comprising of Stage 1: Shortlisting Questionnaire, followed by Stage 2: Tender and Award. Providers successful at Stage 1 were invited to participate in Stage 2.
The panel is for the sole use of the University of Lincoln and will run for a an initial period of 3 years from 01st June 2021 to 31st May 2024. There will be an option for the University to extend the Contract by a period of 2 years in yearly increments taking the maximum contract end date to 31st May 2026.

The Contracting Authority incorporated a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period following electronic notification (minimum of 15 calendar days for any other means of communication) to applicants of the award decisions.
