II.2.4) Description of the procurement:
The Contracting Authority (CA) requirement is for the provision of support services to enable the CA officials to undertake physical and administrative duties at multiple locations across the UK. These support activities may include but are not limited to: the operational management of sites; ensuring that sites are fully equipped; principal contractor services, either setting up and/or adapting sites; carrying out non-core customer-facing processes, such as recording details of documents presented; security services; traffic management activities and; logistics services including transport and warehousing services. Innovation of these services and provisions is expected to continue throughout the term of the contract. Due to the nature of the requirement the business need access to a partner(s) who has a wide range of capabilities, who can respond in an agile manner to business needs and mobilise solutions in a short timescale.
