Essential requirement: potential providers must possess BSEN ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification, or equivalent, bu UKAS or a comparable body.
HMRC's current approach to this contract would be a 1 year contract, with two 1 year optional extensions following that for a potential total of 3 years.

HMRC has a necessity for the forensic examination and analysis of both telecommunications equipment (inclusive of but not exclusive to mobile phones, fax machines, PDA’s, GPS units etc) and computer equipment (inclusive of but not exclusive of hard drives, discs, CCTV units, Games consoles, iOS (Apple) devices including iPod/iPad, thumb drives, digital camera, CD-roms etc) seized during investigations. HMRC also require potential providers to attend the scene of the seizure to provide advice and support along with a provision of a weekly transportation service.
The Quality/Cost split is 70/30 but this is indicative and may be subject to change.
