   Swindon Borough Council (SBC), wishes providers to submit tenders for its requirements for an interim domiciliary care framework.

The contract will run from July 2017 for an initial term of two years with the option to extend for two further periods of one year each, subject to satisfactory contract performance and budget availability. The total potential contract term will be four years.

The estimated contract value will be between £0 and £8.65M per annum, totaling £0 to £17.3M during the initial two year term and £0 to £34.6M across the total contract term including extensions. Volumes and values of work are estimated and not guaranteed.

      Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of an Interim Domiciliary Care Framework. This will be accreditation based framework that ensures the council a basic level of compliance of service, agreement to set hourly tariff and submission and monitoring of key performance indicators and data on a quarterly basis.

All providers who meet the criteria will be awarded onto the framework; providers will be required to compete for each new piece of work and evaluated against the criteria outlined in the tender documents.

This interim framework will provide domiciliary care provision for the period prior to the main/master domiciliary contract anticipated to being in place in autumn 2017. During the framework period the Council will work with providers to move to an outcome approach rather than a time & task focus.
