The Museum has been touring its groundbreaking exhibitions since 1990 and we are currently adding a number of new, specimen-rich shows to our offer, and therefore wishes to set up a four year framework agreement to provide specialised specimen crating and/or transport services in one or all of the following lots:

Lot 1: Specimen and exhibition moves within the UK

Lot 2: International moves, co-ordination of the complete logistics associated with packing and transporting specimens between the Museum’s UK sites and international hosting venues;

Lot 3: Crate production, co-ordination of the complete logistics associated with crate building according to the Museum’s specification;

Lot 4: Provision of warehousing facilities, for the storage of packed and/or packed crates.

Interested parties are required to complete and submit a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. Once Questionnaires have been evaluated, shortlisted suppliers will be invited to tender. Please note that the Invitation to tender documents are available for download IN DRAFT FORM (subject to change before Invitations to Tender are dispatched) and FOR INFORMATION ONLY at the Pre-Qualification stage and interested parties are only required to submit a completed questionnaire rather than a full tender submission, unless and until they are shortlisted for the next stage.
