*UPDATE ON UNDERSTANDING SOCIETY TENDER*
Following consultation with suppliers who attended the pre-market engagement, the ESRC and UKSBS, University of Essex Procurement and the Understanding Society team, it has been agreed that the Wave 9-11 invitation to tender will be issued as a single “lot” covering both the mainstage and the IP. This decision has been made due to the complexities involved both in bidding for two lots and implementing them in practice; and so that Understanding Society can realise the best value for money across all components of the delivery of the Study.
This is a change from the Prior Information Notice (PIN) that was issued on 28th August. So the decision has been made for the PIN to be withdrawn. However a contract notice for the provision of this tender the will be issued in the next few days and the invitation to tender and the specification will reflect the move to a single lot.
Please pass on these details to your colleagues as appropriate.
Kind regards
University of Essex Procurement
