Wheelchair accessible vehicle transport for special education needs children to attend school, looked after children to attend school or visits to family, and for vulnerable adults to attend day care centres. Anticipated 8 routes to be required with an estimated value of up to £118,934. Estimated length of contract from 1 year to 4 years. Lot 4: Taxi TransportVarious. Routine taxi transport for home to school transport for mainstream school children, special education needs children to attend school, looked after children to attend school or visits to family, and for vulnerable adults to attend day care centres. Anticipated 30 routes to be required with an estimated combined value of all routes - £723,852. Estimated length of contract is various from 1 year to 4 years. These estimations and anticipated requirements are based on figures during the period September 2014 to November 2014. In addition to the requirements listed above, the DPS may be used to tender urgent transport routes that arise during the period of this notice. This may include tenders for immediate transport requirements that have a significant social impact, or where an existing provider fails to deliver a route with immediate effect. These urgent requirements may arise within any of the four lots. |
