1) Payments to all participants; each team short-listed to proceed to the design phase of the competition shall receive an honorarium of £20,000 (plus VAT). Payments will be due following submission and presentation of design proposals at a final interview and shall be made to the lead consultant of each team. It shall be a condition of entering into the competition that Bristol City Council has the right to utilise any ideas (or part of them) contained within or generated by the submissions as part of the design, building and/or operation of the Arena [and the entrants shall if so requested by Bristol City Council at any time execute such documents and perform such acts as may be required to fully and effectively assure Bristol City Council of such rights] 2) It is intended that the jury will include, but not be limited to: representatives of Bristol City Council, industry professionals and the project RIBA Adviser. The full names of the panel will be included in the invitation to tender document.3) Applicants who do not submit all of the information asked for in the PQQ cannot expect to be selected to participate in the design competition. 4) If an applicant - for the purpose of the assessment of the applicant's legal, economic, financial and/or technical capacity and wants to rely on the capacities/capabilities of other entities (e.g. sub-consultants), the applicant should explain how the applicant will secure such resources, (e.g. by producing an undertaking by those entities to place the necessary resources at the disposal of the applicant).5) Bristol City Council and RIBA require applicants to provide Bristol City Council and RIBA with an e-mail address to which messages and information regarding the competition can be sent to. 6) The deadline set out in IV.3.4 is the deadline for receipt of applications to participate in the design competition. The deadline for receipt of design proposals from the selected participants will be set out in the Invitation To Tender documents. 7) Details of the contract terms for the appointment of the successful design team will be included in the Invitation to Tender documents
