Short Description: | Wandsworth Borough Council is inviting expressions of interest for the provision of an Integrated Carers Support Service. The Service will support the delivery of the Council’s Carers Strategy and the Council’s new responsibilities following the implementation of the Care Act 2014. The service will cover five separate service types (‘Clusters’) integrated into a unified delivery model characterised by joint working and collaboration. The five ‘Clusters’ are as follows: 1)Advice, Information and Informal Advocacy 2)Peer Support 3)Respite and Unplanned Replacement Care 4)Back Care and Therapies 5)Liaison and Training In line with the proposed delivery model, the Council strongly encourages interested Providers to explore collaborative working via forming a Consortia or subcontracting. Further information as to how this is envisaged to work is detailed in the Tender documents. Estimated Annual Value of the Contract: £577,218Contract Duration: 3 years fixed term with the option to extend for up to 2 further years. Estimated Contract start date:1st August 2015 Submitting Expressions of Interest: To express an interest in the opportunity, providers must access and refer to the tender documents at www.delta-esourcing.com Providers must register and log in to the portal and find the Response Manager. Once on the Response Manager page, type in the following Access Code: H34Q7RE659. Providers should then follow the on screen instructions.The procurement will follow the “Open Procedure”. Any queries or questions of clarification relating to the Tender must be submitted through the Delta Esourcing portal. Please note that the deadline for the submission of questions is 12:00 noon on 23rd February 2015.Completed Tenders along with any supporting documentation must be submitted by 12.00 noon on 4th March 2015. The Council reserves the right to not accept late submissions. Providers are advised that references will be obtained in writing from three referees. It is the providers’ responsibility to ensure that their referees are made aware that the Council will be contacting them for this purpose and that they respond within the given time scale.The award of the contract will be based on the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) on the basis of 20% Quality and 80% Price.
