II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
The Council is marketing the former Dunmail Primary School in north Bristol for residential development. The site is approximately 2.7 hectares (6.68 acres) and is owned freehold by the Bristol City Council. Further details are available within the Technical Pack located on Proactis. The supplier will be identified following procurement and marketing exercise seeking a development partner for the development. The developer partner will be licenced to develop the site in accordance with their winning bid. The licence will be in the form of a Development Agreement. The freehold will be transferred on completion of development or in a phased completion. The development will be required to be a minimum of planning policy compliant. The procurement process is a Competitive Dialogue with the adjustment that it will be carried out in two stages instead of the usual three. The Pre-Qualification Question and Outline Solutions stages will be combined into a single stage. This will then be followed by a short dialogue process leading to Invitations to Submit Final Tenders. This has the benefit of a reduced timescale and more resource efficient process. The estimated cost used in the OJEU Notice is based upon the estimated value of the completed development. Prospective purchasers and interested parties are being given the opportunity to register to receive marketing information and to attend a Presentation to Bidders at the M Shed, Bristol Harbourside on Friday 23 January.
