Wandsworth Borough Council (the Council) are proposing entering into a service concession contract with a staff led mutual (Charity or CIC, yet to be determined) made up of existing Council officers for the provision of day to day operations at parks, playgrounds, bereavement (cemeteries and crematoria), leisure and sport, Putney School of Art, Arts, Events and Filming. The staff led mutual is likely to commence on 1st October 2015 and start delivery of the service concession contract at that point. The Council are publishing this VEAT notice in order to ascertain if there is any cross border interest in this opportunity. The Council propose to progress towards the award of a service concession contract to the staff led mutual following the expiry of at least 10 full calendar days.
