Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
Further vehicle procurements will not be run outside of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework due to a change in policy which prohibits the use of CCS equivalent terms, which could not have been foreseen. It would be impracticle to create a framework for 5 months until the new CCS framework is live, therefore the current contract is to be extended to bridge the short gap to the new structure.
