II.2.4) Description of the procurement: CITB wishes to commission 1 provider to deliver a 12 month pilot scheme testing a concept of delivering Mental Health First Aid courses to College Tutors and Mental Health Awareness sessions to Construction Apprentices. The aim is to improve mental health and wellbeing for Apprentices who are working in addition to attending college and completing work for the apprenticeship qualifications.
The concept is that by improving mental health awareness, and providing additional support if/when needed, this will contribute to improve completion rates of Apprenticeships.
