      We will be setting up a framework agreement for SSSI Wetland Restoration Work in the New Forest, which is part of Forestry England’s South England Forest District.



Our intention is to award a framework contract to up to three suppliers to deliver our programme of wetland restoration sites repairs and maintenance, together with the complete delivery of smaller restorations, for a period of 4 years from June 2022.



Typical works will include:

Bed level raising/partial drain infill and narrowing using hoggin/rejects

Erosion nick point infilling using hoggin or heather bales

Bed level raising/partial drain infill and narrowing/drain infill using heather bales

Ford construction/repair

Meander restoration

Complete drain infill

Bidders will need to have the machinery, experience and understanding to tackle this type of work on sites that are SSSI, SAC, SPA and Ramsar designated. A high standard of vegetation reinstatement skill is required.
