The ERF was a £160m fund announced by Arts Council on 24th March 2020, with support by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and HM Treasury, to support individuals and organisations across the cultural sector in response to the Covid-19 crisis. The evaluation will help to better understand both the application process and impact the fund has had including whether the ERF achieved its purpose in supporting the survival or organisations and continued practice of individuals.
